Tuesday September 21st, Bring It In - Israel spent the afternoon visiting United for DC, the non-profit arm for DC United, Washington DC's professional soccer team. We are lucky to have Michael Vaughan-Cherubin, the Project Manager of United Soccer Clubs United for D.C., on the Advisory Board for Bring It In - Israel. United Soccer Clubs offers soccer training and healthy life style education to inner city youth in the greater Washington DC area.

Bring It In - Israel took part in a soccer practice in Silver Spring, MD, at the Long Branch Community Center, with children ages 6-10. According to Bring It In - Israel Head Coach David Lasday, "Michael is doing an amazing job with the United Soccer Clubs program, and there is a lot we at Bring It In - Israel can learn from their program. It was a blast playing soccer with the kids."

"Sport has incredible power. Wielded properly, it has the unique ability to teach, educate, unify and inspire, all while simply at play."

"Show me a team sport and I'll show you an infinite number of teachable moments."
